16 Hands Studio Tour

16  HANDS  STUDIO  TOUR

Back from Hawaii and had a great time.  The Donkey Mill Art Center is a creative vibrant asset to the community. We had 15  students and a wonderful experience together.  Plenty of time to explore the big Island and it was different than I expected…more lava, less rain forest…..but fun.  Managed my fear of snorkeling and saw INCREDIBLE fish.

Well, now it is time for our studio Tour on May 5 and 6. If you are anywhere in the vicinity,  come for a visit. Lots of pots and potters, wood and metal and tons of refreshments. We have a great visiting artist this spring  Rick Radman. He makes kinetic sculpture for the garden from tools and found objects.

About this Blog site

Well, this is all very new to me…this way of communicating, but it seems to have a lot of potential: a more direct way to talk about some things that come up and pots I might be excited about…mine or other’s. I can’t imagine that I will write often, but I am eager to see

This February I am heading to HAWAII.  I am going to teach a workshop at Donkey Mill Art Center on the Big Island. I have never been there before and I am really excited about it. It will have a slightly different format than others I have offered.  Feb. 23-25 will be an intensive demo/ hands-on workshop followed by 4 or 5 days of studio work with me there helping and assisting students. So lots of time to work on ideas that bubble up during the workshop.
